We are all waiting for something, for the Lord to come through in some way. Perhaps we are waiting for something to change in our work or ministries, maybe we are waiting for healing of physical health or mental health. Maybe we are waiting for the Lord to come through in our families, with our spouses or our children. It is often not easy to wait, and yet, Pope Benedict XVI said, “the one who has hope lives differently,” So, what does it mean to wait on the Lord?

Isaiah 40:31 reads, they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength. they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

During this one day retreat, we will gather as a community of women, to be strengthened and encouraged in our journey of faith. We will pray together, hear talks filled with witnesses of hope and be renewed in our strength as we wait, together, as a community of women, for the Lord.

The day will include talks, fellowship, opportunity for the sacrament of confession, and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
